Are you tired of learning about the same boring facts about our US Presidents? Are you tired of reading the same textbooks and answering the same questions about the men who each made such an impact on our country? So You Want to be President by Judith St. George and David Small puts a fun, new spin on the way we learn about US presidential history. "You probably weren't born in a log cabin. That's too bad. People are crazy about log-cabin Presidents. They elected eight!"
This was a really cute post! I enjoyed the way that you presented your blog and I really like thw quote you pulled from the book as well! I think that this would be a great introduction to a new unit on presidents. I've never heard of this book, but I can definitely see myself using it because of how many fun facts there are and the way they are presented in such a whimsical way.
