Children's Traditional Literature

Charlotte's Webb is one of my favorite traditional children's literature books! One of the best parts about this story is, it is enjoyable for children and adults, too! It is about the story of a runt pig, Wilbur, who is born on a farm and is taken in and loved by the farmer's daughter, Fern.  When Wilbur grows into an adult pig, he is sold to Fern's uncle, Homer Zuckerman, where he is in danger of being slaughtered, that is until he befriends Charlotte.  Charlotte is a barn spider who develops a plan to help save Wilbur's life. 

Will the plan work? Will Wilbur get to return to his owner, Fern? You'll have to read to find out! The best part about finishing this book is, if you love it as much as I do, you can watch the movie as well!
